Thank You f or a Wonderful Year (12/29/2008) Thank you to everyone who visited our little corner of the web this year. May the new year bring you a more prosperous and less harrowing experience than 2008!
A profound apology to our faithful friends... (11/26/2008) I would like to extend a profound apology to our faithful friends in our community. We have had some major hardware issues in the past few weeks that have left the site almost unusable. We tried to upgrade to a new technology that is supposed to allow us to handle a lot more traffic more efficiently and give you a better experience.
What it ended in was a very odd feeling of unreliability. The site was available to some and not available to others. It worked for comcast customers, but not qwest dsl. Needless to say, we take our availability to the community very seriously. I personally, have been pulling my hair out and staying up very late until we found a solution to the problem.
In the end, we backed out the new technology and will implement a different path, which will still give us the reliability along with the availability you have come to expect.
Thank you for sticking with us, and I think you'll find the service is much more reliable from here on out!

Welcome to the NEWPORT SHORES, WA website. A wonderful community in South West Bellevue,
just north of New Castle, WA. Newport Shores was built in the late 1950's when the developer
cut canals into an old lakeside airstrip. The first home was completed in 1961. The development
was later completed by Norton Clapp, of Weyerhaeuser and Medina Land co.
We hope you find this community resource helpful and as much fun as we have putting it together.
